CANary buh is the band of the young pioneers of Portuguese experimental music BITROT (Benjamin Castanheira), funcionário (Pedro Tavares) and trash CAN (Luan Bellussi) – a particularly explosive alignment. This time NOIVA (Sara Vigário) joins the trio for this ZDB debut.
After their last performance at the now defunct Irreal bar inspired by Stalker’s “Zone” (a film directed by Andrei Tarkovski), the ensemble prepares to present a performance based on the war and resistance scenarios of Come and See (directed by Elem Klimov), abandoning the ethereal technology to bring us a sound perspective of the horrors of armed conflict. The sound of fire and fury, soundscaping the eternal cycle of violence.
