The play “Mal Sentidos” works on various levels of translation and the displacement of meanings from reality to complex the reading of current events in a tragicomedy of the Present. What might the myth-building process be today? The myth is constructed through the reproduction of narratives that, through their repetition, become collective. Today, we associate this construction with the media, although we know that, when accessing information, we do not see it as a mythological narrative, but factual. The way in which information is transmitted reflects what is “believed” to be the articulation of contemporary thought. The words we use (or fall into common use) reveal our beliefs, the world we have to articulate. In a game of mirrors, several devices are created that unfolds the reality of the presentation space (audience, interpreters, language, translation, movement creation) in “now” and “representation of the Present”. This creates a “dramaturgical confusion”, reflecting the current way of perception and translation. Here, two people are subject to language, as a weapon.
