More than a decade has passed since the “kid” Gabriel Ferrandini impressed us all with his vitality on the drums. It’s been a pleasure to witness the rise of this musical prodigy up close, watching him become one of the most essential musicians in the city of Lisbon (and everywhere).
If there is to be a kid tonight, it will be Ricardo Toscano. With great value in the meanderings of the ‘jazz of the village’, Toscano revealed himself in the saxophone looking up to the right masters of Jazz, but always in search of a language of his own.
Two musicians in constant creative ebullition, each one in his own, but finding here a common ground. It will be worth it.
