XEXA

A genuinely inspiring presence in these times, XEXA reimagines the world as it presents itself to us. A kind of soothing magic, she appears in the Príncipe Discos catalog as an unexpected turn towards sidereal territories of infinite transformation. She reflects the need to go beyond the surface and the tangible, without ever forgetting her roots. With more quantum energy than sweaty muscle, the Lisbon artist, of São Toméan descent, finds unexpected intersections in contemporary music. A global star whose career evolved from the study of jewelry to the architecture of sound—and what do they have in common? The act of refining the raw material at hand.
The mixtape Calendário Sonoro 2021 emerged as an enchantment from another time and place: a ritual in which multiple voices and diverse aesthetic languages are summoned, diluted in watery songs that run through hidden channels in the confines of the mind. In Vibrações de Prata, she fragmented this material even further, creating an expanded and fortified sensory space that effortlessly melts the senses and frees the spirit like few others. Faced with such high standards, curiosity about the next step naturally increased.
And Kissom surprised us once again. Conceiving new expressions and unprecedented approaches, it immediately highlights the prevalence of rhythm as an inducing element—the heartbeat of a body. It seems to accentuate the micro-melodies that circulate through the ten moons of this open sky of XEXA: a portal to the memory and fantasy that music can, and should, provide to ordinary mortals. An essential piece in a work that is already so coherent, incessant, and liberating. A world in eternal reverberation.

SUZANA

SUZANA is a multidisciplinary artist who showed an interest in music from an early age. At the age of three, she began playing the violin at the Lisbon Metropolitan School and belonged to the “Violinhos” orchestra, where she gave her first concert at the age of four at the Belém Cultural Center. After studying classical music, SUZANA has embraced different styles and musical projects, such as Tristany’s “Meia Riba Kalxa,” in which she participated as a violinist and vocalist, touring nationally and internationally for three years. She has been presenting her solo project as SUZANA, with original compositions on violin and voice.
With this project, she has already performed at renowned venues such as Festival Iminente, O Clarão, Damas, and in Porto and Lamego, standing out as a unique presence in the new artistic generation.
In the field of acting, she participated as an actress in the episode “Undeu,” also revealing her expressive versatility outside of music.
At the same time, Suzana is a music teacher for children, where she promotes teaching that values creativity, sensitivity, and freedom of expression, believing in the transformative power of art from childhood.
