DJ Privilégio, an unforgettable figure on the Lisbon night scene, will be our host, bringing his unique collection of CDs and musical obsessions to this event.
Of the names under which Diogo Oliveira of the ever-active Rotten \ Fresh performs, DJ Privilégio has been the most frequent, and one that lends itself to two contrasting interpretations: is it his privilege to share his musical obsessions with the public, or the public’s privilege to hear them? Perhaps the latter, in a world of possibilities that allows for all manner of continuities and disruptions. House and techno at their roots, leading to pop monuments; the laid-back sounds of the city, such as reggaeton or grime, in collusion with the urban paranoia of the most daring electronic music. We repeat: a whole world of possibilities, curated by one of the most tireless, enthusiastic and knowledgeable minds we have seen among today’s youth. A true one.
