In this re-encounter of leituras em voz alta (readings aloud), we take the time, once again, to practice and share a way of paying attention and relating that is anchored in listening as an assembling table. Through a collage of texts read aloud, in the voice and at the rhythm of each person, we attend both to what is being read and to the sound of the reading itself. The subject at hand will be, neither more nor less, the political and affective body of our bodies together: those who read, those who are read, those who listen, those who are heard.
Bring your readings—preferably written by others—or simply join us to see and hear what unfolds.
Starting at 9:30 PM and running until 1:30 AM, the readings will be interspersed with musical sets by DJ (o’ u ‘o).
