Between September 16th and November 27th 2021, Galeria Zé dos Bois presents the installation Parlatório by André Maranha and Tomás Maia.
‘… first of all the silence, better, the silence filtered by a runoff of sand. We hear before we see, but when we get closer, we see an open niche in a wall taken from nowhere. And the intermittent falling of a veil of sand grains – the blue finally strained by the ‘iridescent ether of humanity’ (this is how Nietzsche describes the dialogue). As we go around the wall, we discover the entire mechanism of the huge wooden hourglass that makes up the Parlatory piece’.
