LEYA

Flood Dreams became in 2020 the album that would bring these ideas and perspectives more present than ever – and after an already enchanting work called The Fool, featuring guest appearances by the likes of Sunk Heaven, PC Worship or Eartheater). But LEYA’s unpredictable and ever-changing nature led them to return this year for a next chapter. Eyelinecame out somewhere last November as a mixtape sketch during a tour. As it took shape they called in such modern day constellations as Actress, Claire Rousay, Martha Skye Murphy or the aforementioned Eartheater, to add new textures and filaments to LEYA’s dark matter. The result is only one of the most intoxicating albums of 2022 – and still deserving justice to reach a wider audience. Lisbon is thus one of the cities to receive the European tour that will make ZDB fallow for an unmissable night. NA

Seán Being

Irishman currently living in the Lisbon area, treats pop according to a very personal experimentation. Faux Window was released in 2021 and brings together a set of seven songs that bubble between digital neo-romanticism and the confessional tone in a hotbed of blurred orchestrations, sonic grain and the occasional dragged rhythm whose mechanical force carves out space for voice. Seán Being translates the restlessness of modern life through silky and unusual electronics. A beautiful surprise. NA
