Immersion Baptism

Immersion Baptism is the title that hovers around the experience between three moments in their different forms – it brings together a painting exhibition, the presentation of an independent visual archive publication and a sound performance by drammatico moderato, a duo formed by Francis de Assis and Inês Encarnação.
The painting explores the place between concrete and abstraction through allegory, the figuration of symbols that deal with notions of violence and power dynamics, as well as glimpses of the pure and impure. An extension of this practice is the publication, the result of an agglomeration of references from different media, used to expand and deepen this same imaginary universe.
