Paisagem is a process in constant transformation and search, in this performative act, a dance between intention and the unexpected, where improvisation challenges the rigidity of the planned and creation takes place at the exact moment of its execution.
This is the second experimental show of Paisagem and also Nejur’s second solo performance on Portuguese soil.
Izabel Nejur (b. 1981, Rio Branco – Acre, Amazonia) is a multidisciplinary artist who has lived in Portugal since 2018. Their work spans the languages of dance, performance, cinema, writing, and video art, with a central focus on fluidity between forms and listening as a creative principle. Nejur holds a degree in Journalism, with postgraduate studies in Cinema and Dance.
In 2018/2019, they joined the Olga Roriz Training Program in Lisbon.
Bruna Buniotto is a visual artist with a degree in Digital Communication from UNIP in São Paulo, Brazil. In parallel to photography and video, her artistic work consists of creating posters using the LAMBE-LAMBE technique based on her photographs. LAMBE-LAMBE is a collage technique usually used to spread some kind of political message, considering politics as everything that makes us reflect. The intention in mixing photography with this technique is precisely to allow the feeling of that image to be absorbed, felt, and interpreted individually by those who see it, and for that interpretation to be free. She has traveled through several European countries applying posters, spreading her message, and meeting other artists to create new connections and collaborations.
