Atelineiras presents “Ao Redor” following the deconstruction of the film that gives the exhibition its name. With new forms, bodies and representations, they intend to invoke their own sensitive lens – resembling an installation herbarium – of the Azorean fauna.

The Atelineiras are a transdisciplinary collective, formed in 2020 on the island of São Miguel (Azores), which seeks to influence the artistic structure through its own perspective of collectivity, the questioning of identities and the free experimentation of artistic techniques that accompany the progress of each member.
Their work is based not only on the development of individuality, with the aim of achieving a sustainable and progressive communality, increasingly contemplating their surroundings, but also on the island feeling that accompanies and sustains everything they do.
