Camila Fuchs, Lisbon duo of experimental electronic music, cross elements of Krautrock, trip-hop and leftfield Techno with fragile and haunting vocals.
The project was formed in 2012 in London by Camila De Laborde (Mexico City) and Daniel Hermann-Collini (Munich). They released their debut album ‘Singing from Fixed Rung’ in 2016, by Jahmoni Music / SVS Records, followed by ‘Heart Pressed Between Stones’ in 2018, by ATP Recordings. Having achieved international recognition, they participated in several festivals – Mutek Mexico, Primavera Sound and All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival sharing stage with artists such as Plaid, Actress, Giant Swan, Aleksi Perälä, Starcrawler, Braids, Charles Hayward, Ben Vince, William Basinski and Thomas Fehlmann.
In early 2020 they announced the new album ‘Kids Talk Sun’ which just came out on Felte Records, based in Los Angeles. Produced by Peter Kember (Spacemen 3 / Sonic Boom), between the fog and the castles of Sintra, where they live, this third album sees their experimental pop electronics being imbued with a childish light and curiosity. They present it as an abstract meditation on childhood, on the connections between human and nature. There is a feeling of multiplicity, a certainty in the transformation, disintegration, decomposition and in the new that results to besiege us, with open arms, ready for hope.
This will be his first concert to present ‘Kids Talk Sun’.
