Kristina is the newest member of the Carpet & Snares collective, Kristina is not only a driving force behind its events but also a rising talent behind the decks. A sharp selector with a refined and exquisite musical vision, she seamlessly blends minimal, house, and dub techno, crafting sets that showcase her broad taste and passion for experimentation. Each performance is an immersive sonic experience, designed to captivate and transport her audience.
She has played at some of Portugal’s most renowned events and venues, including Bloop Recordings, Hungry4, and iconic clubs like Ministerium and 5A.
Kristina is constantly evolving and deeply dedicated to her craft, immersing herself in the world of vinyl, refining her skills, and curating a record collection that truly reflects her soul and artistic vision.

Scott is a devoted vinyl enthusiast who stands as the driving force behind the esteemed podcast series and record label, ‘Afterhours.’
Whether meticulously exploring the intricacies of minimal and house or diving into the deeper and dubbier realms of techno, Scott has showcased his ability to diversely craft sonic journeys that resonate with audiences internationally having graced the stage in cities from Berlin to London, Seoul to Sydney and beyond.
Playing for and collaborating with the likes of S.A.S.H, Fabric, Boiler Room, Ministerium, Golden Gate, ABC and now a regular face in the Lisbon circuit, Scott continues to make his presence
felt within the underground music space.

Jorge Caiado is a DJ and producer with nearly 20 years of experience, having released his first record in 2012 under the mentorship of house legend Chez Damier on Chicago’s Balance Recordings. A graduate in Sound Engineering and an alumnus of the Red Bull Music Academy, Jorge combines technical expertise with natural talent and a deep passion for electronic music.
He quickly established himself as one of Portugal’s top DJs, regularly performing at the best clubs and festivals in the country, as well as internationally at venues like Tresor or Heidegluehen in Berlin, Smartbar in Chicago, and Vent in Tokyo, to
name a few. His influence extends beyond the DJ booth. As the label manager for Groovement for many years – one of Portugal’s most established labels over the last two decades – he also runs Inner Balance and has been the driving force behind Carpet & Snares Records in Lisbon since 2014.
In addition to running Carpet record shop for the past decade, Jorge has developed several valuable tools for the Portuguese music community, such as a distribution service for labels, extensive catalogs, providing a platform for countless artists, mixing and mastering services as well as simply mentorship to newcomers. Since 2018, he has also been sharing the music that inspires him through his weekly show, Uma Espécie de Azul, on Radio Oxigénio 102.6fm.
Jorge’s contributions to the Portuguese electronic music movement are undeniable, and his efforts to develop and shape the scene from various angles are highly regarded. For all these reasons, he has become a key figure in the underground community, whether in the studio, on the airwaves, in the record shop, or at the club. His dedication to music and the scene is relentless and unquestionable.

Born in Bristol, UK, he’s been making waves across the electronic music scene. With vinyl releases on labels like Butter Side Up, Small Hours, Limousine Dream,MINDHELMET, and Ba Dum Tish, he has carved out a niche for delivering captivating tracksthat keep both selectors and dancefloors on their toes. Velvet Velour has crafted DJ mixes for Butter Side Up, Limousine Dream, and Dr Banana,showcasing a diverse range of sounds rooted in underground deep house, tech house and ukgarage.

As one of the familiar faces you can find behind Carpet’s counter on a daily basis, Miguel Melo is part of the family and the mind behind one of our sub-labels, Ozy Rec.
The eclecticism and refined criteria in the choice of label’s first release tracklist (from Pandilla LTD), mirror well what defines him as a DJ and selector behind the booth in a club or party – a
peculiar underground vision of electronic dance music that can easily travels from downtempo and deep sonorities to groovy and minimalistic dancefloor belters.

Rui Ferreira is a versatile DJ and one of the core members of the Carpet & Snares Records crew. His own label Dream Ticket has been putting out exciting music from newcomers and tested artists alike, and is showing no signs of stopping.

Pedro Goya is an exceptionally talented electronic musician, audio engineer and DJ who has left an indelible mark on the electronic music industry. From an early age, Pedro exhibited a natural inclination toward perfectionism, consistently striving for excellence in his craft. He has cultivated a unique and unmistakable sonic identity that has elevated him to the ranks of one of Portugal’s foremost electronic music producers.
Pedro’s music can be found on esteemed labels including Yoyaku, Overall Limited, Bloop, Different Head, Exun, Brique Rouge, Music for Freaks (to name a few).
Additionally, he has established his own record label, Pedro Goya Music, which serves as a platform for his own releases.
Beyond his role as a producer and label owner, Pedro has garnered respect as a highly regarded audio engineer. His expertise in mixing and mastering has been sought after by numerous artists and record companies, solidifying hid reputation as a dependable and esteemed industry professional.
Pedro’s prowess as a DJ is equally held in high regard, his versatility and pragmatic approach to the dance floor has amassed a loyal fan base who hold him in high regard.

Saramago was born in Torres Vedras, a city located near Lisbon, Portugal. Music captivated him from an early age, and he began buying records in the 1990s. His influences range from soul and jazz to the darker sounds of house and techno. Later, he became interested in production and began searching for his own sound.He has several works already released, notably his contribution to the VA on the label “Offtopic 001” with the track “Ponto Azul” and his EP on the well-known national label “Carpet n Snares,” where he was responsible for the release of the 4-track album 09.

Bernardo Vaz began his career in 2011 under the pseudonym Bill Onair. He was initially a DJ playing old-school hip-hop and R&B, but quickly expanded his interests to disco, soul, and house. He currently plays techno, acid, trance, and electro, the result of a growing passion for the electronic scene and record collecting. He is a resident DJ at Harbour and has played at various venues in the Portuguese capital, such as Lux, Ministerium, Europa, 5A, Rive-Rouge, and ZDB. He also collaborates monthly with Collect on their program AUDIO TRIP. He promises a night of dancing with no boundaries between styles.

Sasha Pervukhin, the visionary electronic music artist formerly known as Alex Pervukhin, whose musical journey has undergone a transformative evolution. With an illustrious career under his previous moniker, Pervukhin left an indelible mark as a local DJ-hero, igniting the spark that now fuels his creative flame. As the driving force behind the turntables, Sasha was a sought-after talent, gracing the stages of renowned international events like Brave Factory Festival, СХЕМА, Hypnohouse or at Kyev’s cult club – Closer, sharing the decks with luminaries such as Brawther,
Francesco Del Garda, Quest, Leo Pol, Shed, and more.
Transitioning seamlessly from the DJ booth to the studio, Sasha embarked on a new chapter in his artistic exploration. Years of honing his craft culminated in the creation of his vinyl-only label, Laconica, where he channeled his influences from US
Garage, UK Tech, and Breakbeat into captivating productions. His musical prowess garnered recognition on a global scale, with two of his tracks securing a place in Trommel’s Top 100 list of best records in 2023.

Juno Records aptly describes Sasha’s sound as an effortless fusion of late ’90s UK tech-house and the dreamy, spacey realm of deep house. This sonic alchemist has since expanded his reach, with releases on esteemed labels like Tesellate, Rawax, and Mr. Banger. His tracks have found a home in the sets of Varhat, Priku, IO
