João Timóteo invites Sara&André and alô to bring to life, alongside him, this encounter between characters and landscapes. Somewhere between appearing as mirages and possibly belonging to a fantastical universe, they set out on a path towards an existence that skims the surface of reality, cursed by the haunting powers of the imagination.

João Timóteo

João Timóteo is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans cinema, literature and the theatrical arts. Drawing on sculpture, video and writing, he explores mechanisms of narrative and fictional construction, evoking autobiographical references and elements of popular imagination.

Sara & André

Sara & André are visual artists active in the fields of exhibition, publishing and curation. Through a transdisciplinary and collaborative practice that blends appropriationism, institutional critique and folk art, they advocate for the dismantling of hierarchies within the artistic sphere, as well as in other social spheres. In recent years, they have also been involved in collaborations with theatre and dance companies, as well as with activist collectives.
