On September 19 and 20, 2025, Rádio Quântica presents the fifth edition of its non-profit community festival, Ano Q.

Over two days, in a historic venue in Lisbon (Galeria Zé dos Bois), this event celebrates some of the most intriguing sound iterations on the Portuguese scene, with emerging artists and artists from typically marginalized communities alongside pioneering artists who don’t appear in the lineups we usually see—but should!

ANO Q 2025 brings together a diverse selection of artistic projects that challenge the boundaries of the mainstream through their practice. The cultural program of this festival represents direct resistance to profit-driven events—we seek to offer an alternative to the mainstream of an increasingly gentrified Lisbon, where a polished cultural standardization imposed from above or from outside has become the norm.
