Hause Plants

Galeria Zé dos Bois

The concert will take place at the Aquário, being compliant with the rules of social distancing. Capacity is limited and the use of masks is mandatory.

In the daily routine, daydreaming can prevent us from fading away.
For Guilherme Correia, who composes, produces and records from his room under the name of Hause Plants, these dreams arrive in the form of songs.
Lost between the urban life of the night outings, in existential doubts typical of the post-adolescence and in themes like social anxiety, the songs of Hause Plants are bedroom pop in its essence, but exist to be heard and played live, joining the urgency and vitality of the post-punk of the 80s with the ethereal landscapes of the dream pop and the shoegaze.
“City Vocabulary”, mixed and mastered by André Isidro (Ditch Days, Basset Hounds, Grand Sun), is the first single by Hause Plants and the first sample of what will be “Public Speaking”, the debut EP with a release date planned for 2020. With an accelerated pulse, fuzzy guitars and a reverb charged atmosphere, the delicate melodies of Guilherme Correia’s voice describe a relationship at a distance through the lens of a young generation without fear of the consequences.
On stage, Hause Plants, or William Strap (Ditch Days/Huggs) presents himself in the form of a trio, with Nobita (Drunkyard) on bass and Jantónio Nunes da Silva (Huggs) on drums.
