Metametal is an experimental electronic music project based on improvisation and electronic manipulation of saxophone and voice. Metametal finds its musical influences in 60’s American minimalism, ambient, dream-pop, more free jazz and noise as well as industrial music.
With 5 years of life, the project has seen performances in such disparate places as the Braile Satelite festival in Lithuania or Passos Manuel in Porto, besides two albums released on cassette, a self-edited Ventana Pequeña (little window in Portuguese) and Desgasta Meseta, published by Discos Capablanca, which was charted by WIRE magazine in December.
