oráculos & serpentes (oracles & serpents) is a sound and visual essay. based on a journey with a serpent, we reflect on vulnerability and strength, friendship with stones and nettles, and on bodies that tell stories and become living oracles.
Mariana Pinho is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher. In recent years, her research and practice have been linked to ecology, communication and sound. She is interested in experimental communication processes between humans and more-than-humans, especially in exploring sound as a possibility to regenerate our imagination and relationship with the world. In recent years she has played in various projects, both solo and in collaboration with other artists. More recently, she has been exploring alternative pedagogies and teaches and learns with children and teenagers.
