ZDB presents the cinema cycle ‘SOME FROM THE BEAST’, with programming by Cineclube Aparição in collaboration with the BEAST IFF International Film Festival. Every Monday of June at 9 pm, at ZDB’s terrace.
The casting of a gaze and the creation of a space for narratives, visions, expressions of the cinematic art of places, communities and nations that, throughout the history of Europe*, have been put in the place of an unknown ‘other’. Times, formats, geographies and themes of contemporary European cinema are explored in a cycle programmed in collaboration with (and from the programming of)the BEAST IFF: a festival dedicated to the celebration and presentation of Eastern European cinema in Porto.
