The concert and projection will take place at NOVO NEGÓCIO.
Location: Rua do Açúcar number 52, warehouse 3.
Capacity is limited and use of mask is mandatory.

In 2005, identifying a shortage of spaces for creation in the city of Lisbon, ZDB implemented the NEGÓCIO project aimed at creating and experimenting in residence accompanied by performing arts. Until 2018, NEGÓCIO hosted 126 creative residencies and presented 180 pieces of theater and dance (97 of which were premieres from creative residencies). After thirteen years of intense activity, the NEGÓCIO room was forced to look for another location, in what is a direct effect of the recent real estate pressure that fell on Lisbon. After a painful two-year break, ZDB is once again opening NEGÓCIO in a new space: warehouse 3 at number 52 of Rua do Acúcar. The NEGÓCIO continues.

Sei Miguel Swing Ratio Quartet

Every metric possibility can be faced with “swing”. And “swing” is not only related to rhythms, but also to the nature of each sound. I believe that “swing” in its essence is melodic; the six phases of the composition Swing Ratio, here for a quartet, seek to highlight the four fundamental states of the subject in a kind of narrative.
More and more in music, I am interested in relating, unifying, and – why not? – simplify as much as possible.

Almost Blue (2020)
HD video, color, sound, loop

In Almost blue (2020) there is only one moment when everything, for seconds, turns almost blue and that’s when you hear Chet Baker chanting “almost blue”. Here, the place is not a place of arrival, it is the interstitial space of the almost where the revelation of the human condition takes place on the path of absolute disbelief in the face of the possibility of an encounter with what one desires – because what one desires is the lament of what no longer exists.
